Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 4x8 inch loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until smooth.
- Stir in the melted butter.
- Mix in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
- Sprinkle in the baking soda and salt, then stir to combine.
- Add the flour and mix until just incorporated.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 60 to 65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack.
